Hemodialysis Unit Management
Day-to-day operation of dialysis machines, patient scheduling, session monitoring, and clinical outcome tracking for all renal patients.
Equipment Maintenance
Preventive and corrective maintenance of dialysis machines, water treatment systems, and all biomedical equipment in the Foundation’s facilities.
Pharmacy & Consumables
Procurement, storage, and dispensing of dialysis consumables, renal medications, and laboratory reagents required for patient treatment.
Clinical Quality & Safety
Ensuring all clinical procedures meet Ministry of Public Health standards, including infection control, waste management, and patient safety protocols.
Medical Staffing
Coordination of nephrologists, dialysis nurses, biomedical engineers, and support staff rostered across all clinical shifts and sessions.
Water Treatment Systems
Management of reverse-osmosis and water purification infrastructure critical to producing dialysate of safe clinical quality.

PEF’s outward-facing department. It takes the Foundation’s mission beyond the dialysis unit and into communities — through screening campaigns, patient welfare support, nutritional counseling, and systematic research into the prevalence and management of kidney disease in Cameroon.
Community Screening Campaigns
Free blood pressure, blood sugar, and kidney function tests in underserved communities to detect renal disease risk factors before damage occurs.
Patient Welfare & Support
Social welfare assessments to identify patients requiring financial assistance, transportation support, or accommodation subsidies for dialysis access.
Nutritional Counseling

Building formal agreements with medical equipment manufacturers, international kidney foundations, and foreign government health agencies for supply, training, and co-financing.
Government & Policy Engagement
Engaging Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Health and local authorities to align PEF’s activities with national health policy and access government support.
Communications & Publicity
Managing the Foundation’s public image, website, social media, press releases, and annual reports to build visibility and donor confidence.
